The school started back in 1982 as an English language instruction facility in Chiang Rai, Thailand. 	The Online/Chiang Mai connection In 1999, the Napikuns' daughter Thatsawan (“Yai”) moved to Chiang Mai to start a second branch of the language school, and soon became busy enough to hire another local full-time teacher, Adul Kongrabang (“Ting”).
